ABOUT STACY JO ADAMS
Stacy Jo Adams was born on a US military base in Germany, where she did three "tours" with her father. In between these times, she lived and schooled in Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana. She was in Germany when her father, a 1st Sergeant, was one of the first men deployed in Desert Storm.
"It was a very scary time." Stacy says. "When he came back, we were pictured on the front page of a German newspaper." At the end of her father's service, Stacy landed in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where they reunited with her grandfather.
After becoming the first in her family to graduate high school, Stacy Jo attended classes at Cameron University, and took the leap into the insurance industry where she became a very successful agent. She brought her successful skills as an agent and took the risk of starting a small business and opened her own insurance agency in Duncan, where it is flourishing and serving our communities. She and her husband, Ricky, have been married for 14 years and have 7 boys. Stacy Jo and the family attend the Grand Assembly in Corum, where she also teaches Sunday School.
Stacy Jo Adams knows what honor and perseverance looks like. Her family’s military background provided her with shining examples of how these values are fundamental to our American way of life. She worked hard to become a successful local business owner. Now she sees our country’s deterioration and how it is becoming harder every day for Oklahomans to get by.
Having served her neighbors and saved them their hard-earned dollars in times of disaster, Stacy is determined to give voice and representation to our conservative values in our state’s capitol.
